Tangible Resources
The library has a rich collection of tangible books, reference materials, music CDs, learning CDs, movies, documentaries, kindles, newspapers, periodicals, magazines etc. and online resources.
a) Books- AUW library has more then 27000 tangible books covers various disciplines specially Language, Literature, Social Science Studies, Arts, History, Science, Mathematics, Technology, Health, etc.
b) Reference Materials- AUW library has a lots of reference materials i.e. Dictionaries, Atlas, Almanacs, Maps, Guide books, Thesaurus, Multilingual Dictionaries, Encyclopedia etc. such as Longman Dictionary, Oxford Dictionary, Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary, Longman Dictionary of American English, Webster's New Twentieth Century Dictionary, Merriam - Webster Dictionary, other multilingual Dictionaries like French Dictionary, English- Hind Dictionary, English- Tamil Dictionary, English- Persian Dictionary, Sinhalese- English Dictionary, Collins Chinese Dictionary, English- Khmer Dictionary, Thai language Dictionary, Hindi- English Dictionary, Tamil- English Dictionary as well as Encyclopedia, Britannica, etc. Reference materials are marked with a tag and are only to use in library.
c) Periodicals & Magazines- 20 periodicals are subscribed in both Bengali and English.
d) Newspapers- 8 daily national & one weekly local newspapers in both Bengali and English.
e) Audio Visual Materials- AUW library has 1500 DVDs including documentaries, recreational movies etc.
700 CDs including music CDs, English Language learning CDs.
20 kindles with wi fi connection and number of e-books.
Online Resources
The AUW library subscribes lots of electronic resources covering almost all branches of human knowledge intended to promote scholarly and research activities by the students, faculty members and staff of AUW.
The AUW library is getting full access online journals, e-books, reports etc. from three main platforms like:
INASP/PERI: The library is a member of INASP/PERI consortium, Bangladesh. With an annual contribution to this consortium, university library is getting full access of journals from 34 publishers and EBSCOhost; 3 e-book resources; 5 e-databases. The full views of these resources are as follows:

and Sciences. It also includes select monographs and other materials valuable for academic work.

from the date they began publishing to a moving point 3 to 7 years ago.
