Women in Science


The panel speakers will consider the current opportunities and challenges for women in science, why women leave STEM fields, and how to debunk persistent myths about women's abilities as scientists. Discussion will be facilitated by Dr. Andrea Phillott, a Professor of Biological Sciences at AUW, to also consider the needs of upcoming generations of scientists and ways to increase gender diversity in science.
