We are delighted to share with you a cover story published in the South China Morning Post on October 4, featuring AUW Chancellor Cherie Blair, Co-Founders Kamal Ahmad and Jack Meyer, alumnae Marvah Shakib from Afghanistan and Endear Van from Cambodia, and student Christina Tamang from Nepal. In the article, titled Empowerment 101: the Asian University for Women is educating an alumnae of game changers, Chancellor Blair, Mr. Meyer, and Mr. Ahmad emphasize the imperative of access to higher education for young women, and highlight what AUW has accomplished in striving to address this issue, and what, going forth, the University will set out to do.
