    The AUW Health and Wellness Center (HWC) supports the University’s mission by caring for the medical and psychosocial needs of the entire university community.  It is dedicated to creating and sustaining well being in the community through its awareness programs, medical services, nursing care, psychological counseling, and other psychosocial interventions.

    Any student, staff, or faculty member with a current ID card can use HWC services.



    Clinic Hours

    The HWC is staffed by several nurses and doctors in attendance.  Nurses will also be on call to respond to emergencies.  All rotation schedules and important phone numbers are posted at the HWC.

    Sunday-Thursday: a nurse is available 24 hours a day

    Friday & Saturday: A nurse is available 12 hours  a day, 9am-9pm

    Doctor consultations: Sunday, Wednesday, & Thursday from 4:30pm-7:30pm and on call for emergencies

    Counseling and Psychological Services Hours

    Sunday to Monday: 10:30am-7:00pm

    Tuesday to Thursday: 9:00am-5:30pm

    CLOSED: Weekends (Friday and Saturday) and Constitutional Holidays

    The Health & Wellness Centre is open for 24 hours. If you are experiencing a crisis and feeling unable to cope, please come at HWC and report to nurse on duty. Or you may call the HWC duty phone: 01926673038
