    The Physical Education program at AUW emphasizes the important balance of a healthy mind and body. The program provides students with opportunities to participate in a variety of activities, indoors and outdoors, as well as individual and team activities.
    Mandatory Physical Education classes train students in different sports such as Karate, Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Cricket, Table Tennis, Yoga, Zumba, and others. It is about respect, confidence, control of oneself and humanity, contributes to students’ good character building and the life skills needed to succeed in today’s world.

    Basketball is one of the most played sports at AUW. The team matches between the AUW basketball team and students from other schools are eagerly looked forward to. It increases the bond of friendship and interaction with other students. We offer Varsity and Junior Varsity basketball, football, and volleyball.

    Physical Education is a one year course for the students of the Access Academy. All undergraduate students must complete three (3) semesters of physical education to fulfill the graduation requirements for physical education. The requirement can be fulfilled through the successful completion of courses, or participation in approved team or club programs. Satisfactory completion of courses in physical education is based on attendance, participation and skill improvement. Only one (1) class per semester will count toward the fulfillment of the PE requirement.

    We have fully equipped GYM in 20H level 7 and basketball court in CDA, moreover, there are sports tournaments among AUW students. Intra-university tournaments in the spring break including karate, basketball, volleyball, Badminton, Cricket, Table Tennis and twenty more different sports. Winners are awarded prizes and certificates.

    AUW students have competed in the Chattagram Jela Krira (CJKS) basketball tournament each year and have won every year they have competed. International District Level Gold, Silver, and Bronze champions in karate and table tennis each year AUW has competed.
