Description: The Geological Society is a major international Earth science publisher. It owns two journals, The Journal of the Geological Society and Quarterly Journal of Engineering Geology and Hydrogeology. It co-publishes two journals: Petroleum Geosciences, with EAGE, and Geochemistry: Exploration, Environment, and Analysis, with AAG. Journal of the Geological Society (JGS) aims to publish the most topical and highest quality papers, summarizing the results of recent research across the full range of the Earth Sciences. Papers are frequently interdisciplinary in nature, often refer to regional studies and regional studies and should emphasize the development of understanding of fundamental geological processes. Description: GOALI - Global Online Access to Legal Information is a new programme to provide free or low cost online access and training to law and law-related content to eligible institutions in developing countries. The aim of GOALI is to improve the quality of legal research, education and training in low- and middle-income countries, and in turn strengthen legal frameworks and institutions and further the rule of law. Content: Academic and professional peer-reviewed journals, publications and databases in selected subject areas of law from the world's leading academic publishers (Up to 1800 journals, 6900 books, 10 information resources). |
