Dr. Scheifinger is Visiting Assistant Professor in Sociology who joined AUW for Fall Semester 2017. He is teaching courses in the Core Program and PPE. Previously he was Assistant Professor of Sociology at Keimyung University, South Korea and King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Saudi Arabia. He was Lecturer in Sociology-Anthropology for three years at the University of Brunei Darussalam, and was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Asia Research Institute, National University of Singapore and at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. He has also been a Visiting Scholar at the Singapore Internet Research Centre (SiRC), Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
