Brief Bio of Prof. Leslie Rescorla: Dr Leslie A. Rescorla is a Professor of Psychology at the Bryn Mawr College in Philadelphia, USA. She is a licensed and school certified psychologist. Her research interests are – epidemiology and outcome of language delay in toddlers; international comparisons of empirically based assessment of psychopathology in children, adolescents, and adults; and screening for autism spectrum disorders. Professor Rescorla received her Ph.D. from Yale University in 1976. Her current research is concentrated in three major areas – Research on language delay, Empirically based assessment of emotional and behavior problems in children and adolescents, and Individual differences in early reading. She is a prolific writer, published more than 100 article in peer reviewed journal and presented research findings in numerous national and international conferences.
