asina university for women Workshops Series 2017-4

Summary: Human influence to the natural systems are increasing day by day – alterations are obvious. Scientists, policy makers, EIA experts, municipalities, water managers, citizen organizations and a lot of other sectors are required to test environmental parameters in relation to anthropogenic alterations, called environmental monitoring (EM). EM studies help us to understand the state of environment at the influence of different human activities (e.g. industrial, municipal effluent pollution and so on) and helps us to decide actions to either prevent such alterations or take measures to correct the environment. In this seminar, I shall try to describe some ‘simple’, ‘easy’ and ‘small’ experimentations that can be used for monitoring different environmental alteration events towards understanding of big pictures.
